For the first time this year, my family and I ventured to our little hideaway in the mountains. It looks so different during the winter. Summer turns it into a different world.

Fifteen Months

Addison isn't a teeny, tiny baby anymore. She growing. Growing fast. And changing. Very fast.

She's extremely attentive, the most an infant her age could be. Always watching. Always touching.

And this kid's got personality. Let me tell you.

Addison Lee

When my aunt had submitted the news that she was pregnant it was a big shock to us all. I never thought I'd live to see the day. But on the second of January last year, my aunt gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Her name was Addison. Addison Lee. Born two months early she was quite the little fighter, weighing in at only two pounds. We were overwhelmed with joy when she finally came home from the hospital.

But she continued to grow and sprout before our eyes. We watched in amazement at how much she changed. Now at almost fifteen months she doesn't even look like the same baby. New blog post coming soon!

Inspiration

I decided to make a photo blog not only to place my images in the public eye but also to gain some fans. (at least one would be nice!) Photography has been something I've loved ever since I was a child. I was always interested in the camera. I've been inspired by various photographers, from the grainy, sharp, classic images by Mick Rock to the bright, lively, time stopping images by Rachel Devine. Needless to say, I've been inspired by many. And as a photography major, I've learned and am continuing to learn all the basics and fundamentals of this exquisite art. I want to be able to capture life. I want to be able to capture the smile of a child and have it framed in a family's home.

Photography is what I love. It's my lifelong pursuit.
